In the fall, our guardians and our year 9 students did a survey about our school and the results are amazing! Our teachers, mentors, student care team, administrative staff, management, and of course students come to our school every day and work hard to make it the best possible environment for learning; clearly that hard work is paying off!
Great work everyone, and thank you for contributing to making our school one of the best! I couldn’t be more proud!
It has been very exciting to welcome all our students to the new School Year. We have had a great start to the year, with team building and started off with new Unit Plans in the different subject. There is a very positive spirit in the school, both among staff and students and I am convinced that the students will be reaching the maximum of their potential, with the help of their teachers.
I have enjoyed to meet our new students and to hear that our returning students are happy with how the year has started. In the coming weeks I will be spending time to visit lessons to get to know everyone more. I feel very lucky to be working in a school environment with such lovely students.
I look forward to a productive year here at IES Huddinge.
A warm welcome to our new teachers. We were delighted to have you in school today and cannot wait until you get to meet the rest of our fantastic staff next week and our fantastic students the following week. #backtoschool
I hope all our students get a great end to the summer holiday!
It is great to see all students and staff back in school this week. I hope everyone has had a nice Christmas break with time to rest and do things they enjoy. I am very much looking forward to see what this term will bring. A lot of positive things happened in our school last term, which has led to great results.
I wish everyone the very best start to the new term and continued success.
Happy New Year to everyone! I hope that all our students are enjoying their break and that you are having a great start to the new year.
We have a lot of things to look forward to as we start the spring term on January 10th 2017. Our year 9 students will shortly be out on “PRAO”, a Career Day is coming up, a Winter Sports Day, more House activities and new Units of work will be introduced by the teachers.
Have a great end to your holiday. I look forward to seeing staff and students soon again.
I would like to thank everyone who came to our Information Evening at Södertörns högskola last week. We were pleased to see so many people there and to get the opportunity to talk to you afterwards.
We have sent out information regarding offers to the 160 first students in our queue, as well as invitations to our Workshop Day in January. I look forward to meeting everyone then.
If someone declines the offer, the place will be offered to the next student in the queue. This means that there is a possibility to be offered a place at a later stage, for those who have not yet received an offer. This process will be ongoing until all places are filled.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if you would like to know more about our school, by writing to our administration email@example.com or by phoning 08-1201 7270.
We have had a great start to the new School Year. I would like to extend a huge thank you to our fantastic staff and all our lovely students for contributing to starting off the year in such positive and cooperative way. I am confident that our staff, both new and experienced, are well prepared to continuing the year in an outstanding way and that our students with their help will be reaching the maximum of their potential.
Looking back at our starting year 2013 with 250 students, we have over the years expanded with 390 students, to a full school with 640 students and 57 staff members. It has been an exciting and rewarding journey and I am very proud of what we are able to offer our students at IES Huddinge the coming school year. Please follow the blog for updates and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Ms Segerstedt, Principal
It is truly hard to believe we are almost at the end of the school year. This year has indeed gone by quickly. I would like to thank everyone; the teachers and other staff, students and guardians for what you have done this year at IES Huddinge. The students have worked extremely hard and I couldn’t be more proud! The end of the school year always seems to arrive too quickly. We now have two weeks left of school before the holiday starts. These two weeks will be filled with different activities, besides rounding off the year with the last lesson in each subject. We are organizing a Charity Walk/Run, Sports Days, Students Choice Days, Cleaning Day and of course our End of Year Ceremony and Year 9 Prom and Graduation. I am looking forward to a productive and fun end of this Academic Year.
Staff is on site and we are now getting ready to start off the new School Year. Enthusiastic, positive and very capable staff will be welcoming their students on Wednesday. What an exciting year the students have in front of them, learning new things and reaching new goals.
I look forward to seeing all students here again.
