Happy Summer

Dear All

A lot of people have been working hard with the preparations for the new School and we are
getting closer and closer to the opening. The work inside the building is completed
and I would like to express my gratitude to all those who in various ways have
worked with creating our fabulous School. You have done a fantastic job and I
am very proud of our new School!

All staff is employed, books and supplies are now filling the shelves in the School and the
furniture will be delivered at the end of the month.  I am very much looking forward to when the
building will be filled with students as well.

I hope you are having a lovely summer and that you are enjoying your holiday.

How to get to the school by public transport

The school start is getting closer and you might start to think about how to get here on the first day.

The closest bus station to the school is Kvarnängsvägen which is on Regulatorvägen just before the crossroads for Regulatorvägen, Visättra and Flemingsbergs station. The buses that stops at this station is 704 Fruängen-Björnkulla and 713 Tumba station-Visättra Sportcenter. When you get off at this station you just follow Regulatorvägen down to number 11 where the school is.

The other option is to get off at Flemingsberg station and walk down to Regulatorvägen 11. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the station down to the school. There are plenty of buses that stops at Flemingsbergs Station (the bus stop is called Hälsovägen) and at the station you will find the commuter trains departing from/towards Stockholm/Märsta or Södertälje every 15 minutes.

If you have got any questions about this or anything else you can contact me on

A new member of staff

I would like to welcome IES Huddinge's administrator, Sofie Wallentin, who started her new position this week. Ms Wallentin is originally from Sweden but has lived in the UK the six past years. I am very glad to have her in my new team of staff and I look forward to get the School started together with her and the other staff members. On 14th of June Mr Phillip Close will be joinin us as well.
