Today the 8th graders in our school who had chosen to sat the first written part of the IGCSEs, exams from Cambridge. The subject was "English as a second language". Tomorrow the exam will be in the subject of French. We are very proud of the students for making this effort, not only to sit the exam but also for preparing for it and working hard to recive a certificate from Cambridge. Well done!

Many thanks you to our English teacher Ms McKendrick and our French teacher Ms Andrieu-Delille for preparing the students for the exams. Ms McKendrick has done a great job arranging them.

I wish all the students good luck with the rest of the exams. Friday the 16th of May they will be completed.

A huge thank you to all the students who took part in our first Talent Show. It was amazing! What talents we have here at IES Huddinge. Our performers were singing, dancing, beatboxing, rapping and Alexander solved the Rubic's Cube in a time under 45 seconds. Thank you also to Mr Close who did a great job arranging this event and the Student Council for helping in running it. I am so proud of you all!

Sports Day

I hope all students at IES Huddinge enjoyed today’s Sports Day.

I want to thank both staff and students for contributing in making the day successful. A proud Principal can tell you that staff at the various places visited during the day have praised the students and they asked several times what school the students came from. From Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge!!!

Successful Recruitment trip

After returning from the Canada Recruitment trip 2014 I can let you know that it was very successful. During the two weeks visit in Ontario, Canada, I and two other IES Principals have in total interviewed over 100 Canadian teachers who would like to come over and teach in our schools in Sweden. Contracts are already being put together and positions are being filled for the expansions in our schools. It is fantastic that these teachers are moving all the way to Sweden to teach IES students. A big thanks to all of you that are showing interest in these positions.
