A huge thanks to Edin Dzemat, one of Sweden's top chefs arranged by our Home Economics teacher Ms Begovic as surprise for our year 9 students with a wonderful message to inspire our students to do their best in the competition and his wise words about what it takes to win!
It is great having everyone back in school.
We have had a very good start to the new school year here at IES Huddinge. Even though we have had to do things a bit differently, due to the pandemic, the atmosphere is at its best.
I have enjoyed getting to know our new students and to hear that our returning students are happy with how the year has started. In the coming weeks the management team will continue to visit lessons to see how our 20 classes are doing.
We have started off the term with focus on getting to know each other and to ensure that we have an environment conducive for learning.
In the coming weeks we will involve the students in our quality work and make sure they get to take part in following up on last year's targets, as well as setting up new goals for this school year. The results of this work will be shared with you here on SchoolSoft later.
I look forward to a productive year together with all students and staff here at IES Huddinge.
On Tuesday this week our new staff had their first day at our school and took part in a digital meeting led by management at Head Office. Here the new staff at IES Huddinge gets introduced to IES by our CEO Anna Sörelius Nordenborg. IES understands the importance of a thorough induction when it comes to setting their employees up for success.
Now we have all our staff back in school to get ready to welcome our students to the new school year on Wednesday. What a great team of staff we have here at IES Huddinge. We are so grateful for both new and returning staff.
A warm welcome to our team to all new staff!
Tonight our students and their families are invited to IES Huddinge's Open House between 18:00-20:00. All our teachers will be here to show what the students have been working with during the term. There will also be "Pepparkakshustävling" and Lucia performance. We look forward to seeing you!
A warm welcome,
Order, structure and safety are necessary prerequisites for learning.
Children should learn to command the English language, not just know it, at an early age.
Our conviction is that every child can achieve success irrespective of social background.
