Introduction Ms Lejon

Hello Students and Guardians,

Starting my eighth year at IES Huddinge and this year as the Assistant Principal is very exciting. Some of you know me and some of you don’t, I started here at IES Huddinge as a PE teacher as well as the HOD for PE 2014, after two year I took on the role as HOD of Aesthetics. In 2017 I started teaching Math and also being the HOD of Math. In 2019 I was in need of another challenge and became the Head of Year 9. Last year I started the school year as the Academic Manager of the school and now I am the Assistant Principal. Knowing the school and different roles here at the school will support me in being the best Assistant Principal that I can be. I love our school. I want our school to be the best possible place for our students to grow and reach their goals, whether they are academic goals or social goals. I want our school to be the best school, In any sort of way that it can be.

We have great staff, who work so hard to support our students and care about our students. It is an honor to be part of the IES Huddinge team. I am so excited about this year, seeing our students learn and develop and supporting them in making the right choices.

Please do not hesitate to contact me!

From the Principal

New Principal IES Huddinge

Dear all,

I am finally on site permanently at IES Huddinge and am really looking forward to meeting and to getting know you everyone!

On my visit to the school on the 15th of April I met many very nice and talented students as well as dedicated teachers and staff. It is with great joy and humility that I take on the role of Principal at IES Huddinge, which is a very well-run school where students learn and develop in an extraordinary way. Throughout my school career, I have visited, seen and worked at very many different schools. Both as a teacher, a project manager for development projects and as support for school management. Most recently as assistant principal with great operational responsibility for the last four years in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka Municipality.

I have learnt that IES Huddinge has students who show very good academic results and strong knowledge development. A calm and safe study environment with a strong and competent student health team that, with the support of all competent staff, make the school really live up to the IES standard.

I am convinced that IES's three main pillars, high academic expectations, a safe and secure study environment and mastering the English language, together with a staff group of very high quality, are important reasons for the success of many students who have attended IES Huddinge exhibited.

Together with all students, parents and staff, I will continue the successful work that Mrs Segerstedt and previous school management have accomplished and I look forward to getting to know everyone and celebrate new successes with you!
